FAQs

The timeline will always depend on the amount of functionality you require and what you need the new website to do. Generally speaking eCommerce takes longer to build than a standard website. Once we have spoken with you, we create a proposal that details the project timeline and what we’ll need from you in order to hit all the deadlines. Usually a new website can be up and running within 3-6 weeks but this is highly dependent on you being able to supply things like images and videos you want to include and also other content including text being ready.
The cost will generally depend on the amount of functionality you require and what you need the new website to do. Our Maintenance+ service starts at £39.95 a month and will depend on the size of your site and how frequently you need it updating (we will ensure your site is secure, backed-up and updated (software) for free!). We can also help you by creating and publishing all your social media posts too. If this is something that interests you, then please get in touch.

Yes, nowadays Google and other search engines rank websites by how fast they load and also by how easy they are to use. The theory is, that the best websites show up higher in the search rankings although many other factors also play a part. We work hard to ensure that your new website is extremely fast to load, especially on smaller screens and mobile phones so that your website visitors are impressed and are more likely to make an enquiry with you.
Web hosting is the place where all the files of your website live. A good way to think about this is if the domain name was the address of your house, then web hosting is the actual house that address points to. All websites on the internet need web hosting. We include the first years hosting of your website in the initial cost for free so that you’re completely covered. You can choose to host your website wherever your like but we recommend the UK based company we use as we have many websites with them and the service is excellent.
Simply put, a domain name (or just 'domain') is the name of a website. It's what comes after “@” in an email address, or after “www.” in a web address. If someone asks how to find you online, what you tell them is usually your domain name. Your domain is included in your site package for the first year.
Yes. We will give you access and a user guide to your CMS (content management system), so you can make small changes to your site, or upload new content yourself. Obviously, some people may not find this easy which is why we have the option of our Maintenance+ service to ensure your site if always looking fresh and up to date.
Using a custom email address helps to strengthen your brand by ensuring that your brand name, website address and email addresses are coordinated. This keeps your brand coherent across all platforms, and avoids the mixed messages that can confuse your prospective customers. If you’re trying to build a professional brand for your business, first impressions are important. Email is one of the most common forms of communication with your potential clients. A professional email address creates a sense of trust. This will boost your company’s potential to attract new customers. Our packages include business email accounts for the first year and you can add more accounts if you need them.
